Weight: 250 gr. pack. Ingredients: Whole wheat flour, yeast, water, salt. Description: Carasau bread is a typical Sardinian bread, originally from the Barbagia region (central-east Sardinia) and it looks very thin and crunchy. It is the “bread of the shepherds”: The absence of crumb makes this preparation long-lasting and therefore suitable for periods of transhumance. The name comes from the word "carasare", which means toasting. It can be consumed either dry or slightly moistened in water, to accompany cold meats, cheeses, meats and vegetables. Conservation: Store in a cool, dry place after opening.
