It is often called “Sardinian cous cous”, because it resembles the typical Middle Eastern dish. Its name originates from the Latin "ferculum" (crumbs) and has been traced back to the 10th century AD. Typical are combinations with “bottarga and clams sauce” and “seafood sauce”. Conservation: Store in a cool, dry place after opening.
