Description: Parmigiano Reggiano is a hard cheese with extended aging, whose origins date back to the Middle Ages, in the areas of Parma and Reggio Emilia. Today it is produced in the same places using the same nine centuries-old ingredients and following the same learned rituals. Its pale yellow color as well as its fragrance and aroma become more intense with aging. Delicious enjoyed with bread alone or grated on pasta, risotto or soups to enhance their taste.
